My latest project has been building a lean to off my workshop. I got carried away and made the gutter from timber. Then even more daring and made the water trap and down pipe. Quite a mission but got there in the end. Still sorting out a few leaks but satisfied it should last a while.

You are so creative, Andy. I have never heard of that wood but it must be a good one that holds up to the weather and water!!

Cheers, Jim

Interesting application for gutters. I raided my neighbors gutter and downspout pile when he got new ones. Use them to store my cut offs in overhead storage and a plug to keep them from passing through.

Andy,

Winter coming on here. Summer there. Is this lumber you milled?

Hey there Tom. Sorry for long time no talk. Yes, that is some of the lumber I milled. Very good lasting in the ground. Just to make sure I coated 50/50 oil and diesel.

Not been on here for a while, but when this popped up in my email notifications, I had to have a look! Looks fabulous. Love the fast “brackets” too!!

Nice one Andy,

Garry
