Pick-up pinchers

Made this when my wife had a hip replacement. Wasn’t long until I was making about 12 of these for family members out of ash, maple, walnut, oak, and cherry.

The one on the floor is oak, the one leaning up is maple.

They can be fragile if they are dropped but are strong to pick things up.

Thanks for looking

Thanks Andy.

It took about 3 sets to get the handles comfortable to use (like scissors) then I made a template.

I need one of theses out in the shop!!
It never false that I drop things just as I need them and it’s getting to be really hard to find then pick them up.
No problem with metal parts, I keep a small magnet on a stick near by.
Will be making one of these with a magnet to one side, to cover all needs.
And thanks for the idea.
