Made from Bubinga and Birdseye Maple. Continuous grain around the four sides. That was a trick. Resawed two boards to make the material for the box. Laminated keys and dividers made the project more challenging.

Don, those laminated splines are outstanding. Thanks for showing those. They are something I’m going to have to try. Your hinge and finger tab are things I’m definitely going to have to try an include on my next box.

Ahh, the maestro is making sawdust again! Gorgeous piece and I can see you were very judicious in your choice of wood, bravo! Well planned and executed. Beautiful contrast in the woods and I love the laminated parts.
