This past week I added a router table to my Delta 36-725 router table. The top is made from an old desk top I saved for this purpose a few years ago. I used a kreg jig table plate. I initially didn’t buy the levelers. It i messed up on the depth and ended up using them. The kreg levelers work great. I picked up a Triton 3.25hp router to save money by not having to buy a lift. The sides are made of red oak that I had. I currently am in the middle of making a fence as well. It will be very basic at first and will add on to it when time and funds allow.

I used fast so dou le stick tape and it actually took off some of the black finish. Functionality isn’t diminished.

I’m still on the new side to woodworking. Took me about 2 days after work to finish it. (Including waiting to get the levelers)

Excellent! Should work well for you.

Nice job on the router table! I have the smaller version of this router (2.25 hp) in my router table and I love it.

Thank you! I just tried a test piece the other night on it after I made a simple fence (will post a pic later). I like it so far.

Have your say...
