Old barn siding turned into the Pig Plate. I’ve norrowed the type of wood to seewtgum or some other gum. Plate is 8in. dia. lacquer finish. Pigs are wood burned on the rim. I have included a photo of my studio setup for photographing the plates.

I’m new to turning, how’d you put the pigs around the outside? (i.e. was it a template of some kind, or freehand?)
