That is really a cool treasure chest. The round top especially. I wanted to do a rounded top on a pirates chest toy box I made for my grandson but they said it would be nicer if people could sit on it. Next grandchild gets a rounded top.

I really like the way you angled the boards. Very attractive and distinctive.

And to DoubleDD – kids can still sit on a rounded top – they will straddle it like a horse and the box which holds their toys will become a toy itself. (Never let the grownups stifle your creativity with “sensible” suggestions.)

Thank you all for the compliments. I don’t think I will make another flat top. Well unless a customer orders one. Now just need to figure out how to out do this one.

Very cool! My kids, would love this. I’m afraid they would ask me to put treasure in it and bury it in the yard, though! Something this nice should never be buried!
