My 13-year-old daughter and I made some Shaker Oval Boxes as presents before Christmas. Most are cherry or maple, but I experimented with walnut too. These are very easy to make with some simple equipment. If you’re interested in information or supplies contact John Wilson. I have no connection to John other than that of satisfied customer.

Someday I want to make boxes like these. My hat is off to you on these. I would love to have contact information to John Wilson please. It would be some time before I could do something like this. Very nice way to make memories with the daughter. These memories are priceless. thanks for sharing!

These really look great. Doing some shaker boxes is on my long term to-do list. I’m going to keep John Wilson’s website address. Thanks for posting.

As another satisfied customer of John’s I agree they are fun to make. These look great. Even more fun to make when you can share the experience.

Glen…I attended one of John’s seminars last fall and recommend it to anyone interested in learning Shaker box construction. John makes sure you leave with the knowlege to make boxes. What did you use for a finish, your boxes look great!
