G’day Here is the dining table I made nearly 2 years ago
It was this task that that restarted the interest in woodwork
Our old table ( built by a so called expert ) cracked badly and another tradesperson we tried to get to repair that table let us down
So I started looking for timber to make a top for that table when this timber came along
Not being long enough to go on old frame I was looking for timber to make a new frame
but all I could find was an old table with damaged top which I restored its frame to fill in till timber became available for a new frame
BUT We kinda like this frame now and replacement has not happened

The second last picture shows the timber soon after purchase

Good job … the huon pine is quite eye-catching!

Well done; great contrasts, super live edge, and even the accents on the frame make it a very unique table.

Garry, that is a gorgeous Table, Great job mate.
I love the top and the frame really highlights it all.
I wouldn’t change anything.
Thanks for sharing.

That is a fine looking table. I like it the way it sits now.
