I just finished my last show of the year. It is an indoor show at the museum and as you can see I am in front of the rock climbing wall. I also put together a couple of boards from MTM. I had made one of the 3D butterfly boards over the summer and it sold right away. I had to make another one because it really stops people in their tracks and grabs their attention. The 3D steps boards is a nice looking board in spite of me making a mistake. I had rough cut some wood for different projects at the same time and got them mixed up. I didn’t discover it until after glue up when I couldn’t figure out why pieces were too small. I was able to salvage the board and get a nice looking piece out of it. The boards that were inspired by Prospector and Dean were also very popular and sold out. Thank you gentlemen for the inspiration

For those looking to make the 3D butterfly board, look at my previous version for some helpful hints or message me. There are definitely things you can do to simplify the instructions.

Very impresive collection of various wooden items. Those 3D effects are mindblowing.

Jim,
Really nice display. Clearly, you did a lot of work to prepare for this show.

Thank you. I only do 3 shows a year, but this is the one I’ve done the longest, I believe this was my 8th year. I had outgrown my space but didn’t want to move from the first floor. Last year a second space opened up and I grabbed it. Being able to spread things out really helped. My sales doubled from previous years, so the extra $225 was well spent.
