When we moved to this house in 2005, there were a garden bench which was made by the carpenter of this same house. It was old even then, but anyhow, we were using it by painting it every year.
This was how it looked like.
(This is my son eating Baked sweet potato… Ha ha!)

From For Blog

But as you see, it’s outside, and we have a lot of rain every year, it just didn’t last, or I should say we used it much more than it can be lasted… Recently we found some little mushroom there! Couldn’t believe it…

Anyway, I made a new garden bench, with a long cedar board which had been sitting in my shop for a while.
There is nothing fancy about it, it’s just a long board with 2 legs attached (dovetail attachment).

Painted “xyladecor” but the color was too yellow than I thought. (with this photo, looks OK with me though)

And the size of the bench is much smaller than the last one. So now I need one or more little stools to make, so please check my next project here.

Great looking garden bench. Can’t wait to see the stools you make.

That’s a nice bench. I’ve really been wanting to make something similar for my backyard patio.
