I had always wanted to learn how to build things out of wood; when I was in highschool and college I worked on a number of wooden boats and I was continually in awe of the boatwrights’ skills and tried to learn bits and pieces when I could. So finally, I spent last winter building up my tool collection, starting with a used 3-wheeled bandsaw (Harbor Freight brand), which turned out to be the only tool I never have gotten any productive use out of. By carefully watching craigslist and ebay I gradually acquired the tools to build this, a craftsman-style vanity cabinet for a bathroom remodel that my parents had planned. More pics with the complete bathroom project page.
