I got in on the Delta lathe deal a few weeks ago but haven’t even used it yet. I wasn’t even looking for a lathe but couldn’t pass this up. But first I needed to build a stand for it. I found a plan online and just tweaked it a bit. The plan suggested MDF. I used birch plywood. I put it on an HTC mobile base so I can move it around the garage. Seems very stable when it’s in the down position. I left some space to the right to put a grinder for sharpening.

This “deal” is going to end up costing me a lot of money! Oh well…I’ll have it for the rest of my life!

Good, but short…. About 1 meter is desirable. that to insert a rail-post on a ladder. Good luck…..

She’s tidy right enough.

Trialrun- It’s a variation of the plans from Shopnotes #67. If you look online you’ll see different takes on the same basic design. Some have more drawers, some more doors, etc.
