This is a custom Murphy Wall bed that was completed on 09-18-2007. It started with the Euro style that I usually build a lot of. It was order in the horizontal direction instead of the common vertical unit.
The customer wanted to add a few decorative blocks to compliment the long leg of the Euro style.
I had a problem communicating with her about exactly where to place these blocks. After a few emails, I told the customer to log on to my web site www.wwbeds.com and go to the “Current Projects page. There I have a live video feed of our shop. I turned the camera to her almost completed bed and proceeded with some different layout possibilities until we got what she wanted. I put the recorded video in my BLOG, “Interactive Design.
This was another project that the customer mailed me a sample to match the stain. It was a very dark color where I ending up using a dye. The finish turned our great.
Here is the video with me helping the customer

Great idea Chris. Using a video feed to talk to the customer. You should have put them on a speaker phone connection so we could hear both sides of the conversation.

Good technique and good customer relations. That;s the way to work. Nothing we like better than happy customers. Good job, Chris.

Karson, I thought about that later. My phone did have a speaker phone on it. That would have made it easier for me.
