Some times ago my daughter asked me to make small kitchen table. I had some short pieces of the oak timber and I decided to use its for this project. I had to make rounding one of the corners because her kitchen is small . I did not want to use metal runner systems for drawers and used traditional wooden sliding system. Because one of the boards had the crack I made dovetail joints . I used for this small piece of padauk. Finishing Varathane Premium Wood Stain Summer oak and Varathane Premium Polyurethane Semi-gloss lacquer.Wedges I made from sapele.

Nice touch with the drawer. Pictures don’t do the piece justice.
