“Kasintahan ” (Lovers in Filipino) I designed and built this love seat in 1996. An anniversary present and a statement to my unending love to my wife. The back splats of this love seat is steam bent Dao wood (Philippine Oak) and goes through the seat to also function as its back legs. I bandsawed the front leg frames from a 6”x6” yakal post. The seat, is Ipil while the crown is made from tindalo. The medallion at the top is Molave. All woods are reclaimed from old demolished houses.

Ditto what everyone else said. Benji you are an inspiring master at seating and as you well know seating is the ultimate challenge. Another inspiring piece. Have you considered putting together a book of your work? I’d buy it….....
