Here is a Bed that I made for my little girl summer of 09. She was wanting a “Big Girl Bed” as she put it and was about to outgrow her other bed/cot. Well at the time of looking for mattresses the kids size bed mattresses was threw the roof and I refused to pay for one. We had a Double size Mattress in storage and decided to use it. I knew that it would take a while for her to outgrow this one and if she did then at least the one on the way could use it. I used 1x’s for this project, I used what I had for tools.

Cool bed Ryan. Your daughter looks happy with it. I built one for my daughter last year. It was also a daybed style. You can see it in my projects.
