Parquet Pattern Plywood End Grain Side Table with Shelf

Birch plywood and copper pipe side table measures 20” high x 14” wide x 14” deep. Table is finished with Zinsser clear and amber shellac. Table includes a parquet pattern lower shelf that is approximately 14” x 14”.

I’ve been playing around with plywood end grain for about five months. I get a nice reaction to it when I do local art fairs and am encouraged to keep at it. Still working on best techniques for glue-up and staining.

Awesome combination of those two materials. Who sais that playwood doesn’t look good too. Nice piece.
