Hi, Thanks for looking. This took me a while and I was afraid it wasn’t going to look good after I put the finish on, but I am very happy with it now. It is walnut and the secret box is made from cherry. I used a clothes pin to help push the pin down in the sliding dovetail. You have to push a dowel that comes out the top of the lid down which in turns pushes the clothes pin open which pulls the dowel out of the sliding dovetail, freeing the drawer.

I hope you like it, Take Care

Beautiful, and I’m very impressed by the hidden compartment.
