Chisel rack, made from scrap pine.

I routed dados in one piece to fit each chisel then glued another piece on top. I added the base so it could be moved around wherever it was needed.

Finished with a thin whitewash. (Just experimenting with diffrent finishes.)

Pix are ok this side of rack, but dark.

The back looks exactly like the front. It is made from 2 3/4” pine boards glued together. The back half has dados routed in just a little deeper than the blade thickness (I think they were about 1/4”) of the chisels and a bit longer than the blades. The shaft is tapered larger toward the handle so they actually hang in the block without touching bottom.
