A coffee table is a great item to have, especially a free pallet coffee table. They hold drinks, plates, toys, remotes, magazines, and sometimes even people. I happened to find a listing on craigslist for some pallets at a tractor store. They transported mowers on these pallets and upon arrival and seeing these pallets, there was not much “meat” to them. After breaking them apart I found that I had enough to create a coffee table. The overall size depended on what the shortest piece was and the width was determined by the strips. There was no math involved until I started making the skirts. The legs were even based on the width of the chunk of wood I used. For a stain I used minwax special walnut and a clear finish was Deft semi-gloss lacquer. The project lasted over two weekends and was recorded in a vlog style video series. Check them all out on my YouTube channel. The final video in below, but see how in starts in the previous videos.
