This is a woodburning portait i did for a lady here in town. it is partly relief carved also.

a light wash of color was added to the fur. and to the eyes.

customer has not seen it yet. hope they like it.

the dog has passed away and this is for his owner as a gift.

Beautiful piece of artwork! The little details, like the reflection of light in the eye, make this really special.

Plus, it reminds me of my old long-gone friend, Rusty.
