We moved to a new home and the living room was too small for our old coffee table. I found this idea on the web and drew up a plan that worked for us.

The darkest wood is Wana, medium is Angelique, the light and green is Poplar. The bolt hardware is used to facilitate easy disassembly when we move again. (Military service)

The Wana and Angelique were salvaged cut-offs from the building of Schooner Virginia.

The shared below link has more pictures and the sketchup plan.

Cheers,

Greg

Great craftmanship and man cave project. I like the ’’chess like’’ top board.
