Finial is African Blackwood.

Sorry for the poor quality of this photo but the high shine finish made it almost impossible

The shape amplifies the swirl of the grain, couldn’t be better. Love the color and finish

Lovely form & finish Ron, just a bit hard to pick up the finial design with the background :-)
