Well, what is the collective noun anyway?
These are some of the bowls that are kicking around the house. My wife is loath to part with them each time I wander in from the workshop with my latest creation.

sweet.. yah, I couldn’t pick one that I wouldn’t keep, either!!

I always thought it was a “Stack of bowls” but perhaps they have to be stacked to get that name. So I’m going with a “brood of bowls”, just because

So many things to make – so little time.

These are so nice to see together. A chuck of bowls – yep – that sound good to me!

A very beautiful Turn of bowls you made Mr. Stewart. Might the one black bowl be made of bog oak? jockmike

Thanks LumberJocks for all your kind words. Mmm, a turn of bowls Mike. Could be. The black one was a very old offcut of pitch pine that I attacked with a blow-torch (not whilst it was on the lathe & me knee deep in shavings!) and then with black shoe polish. I was aiming for something that looked as if it might have been dug up by an archaeologist!

You could have fooled me easily, because it looks very much like the bog oak I’ve seen advertised at outlandish price’s. Very nice work just the same. mike

Stewart.

Since you are from England maybe a brace of bowls. But then that would only be when you have two together.
