I made this wee display frame from some scrap raw oak my dad had left over from a project he worked on. I ran it through his thicknesser a few times, grooved the back in using the table saw, and mitred the corners. I would rather the corners were dovetailed but hadn’t the time when i did it

why, dove tail it…I think that would have been overkill. This is a simple box to display a simple project. I think it is perfect just the way it is…it takes nothing away from the real treasure your daughter gave you.

Nicely done. I would have to agree with Randy, it fits the treasure inside perfectly.
