An early project. The wife wanted a clock made from pallet wood so this is what I did. Really basic stuff but my first attempt at making anything decorative. I was in charge of the wood and she painted the numbers on.

You can never be late with this ’’monster’’. So simple – yet so beautiful, nice letters too.

I saw something similar while over on the coast in one of the “specialty” shops.
I liked them then and I really like yours now.
Very nicely done!

What clock movement did you use for hands that big?

Just a basic movement from Hobby Lobby, The hands are very long but also very thin so they don’t weight very much at all. you’ll notice that the minute hand has a counterbalance on it so it doesn’t need as much torque as you’d think.
