I began making these by the request of my Dad. He wanted to give a couple of them as thank you gifts to people that helped him through the loss of my Mother. The ones I made were so well recieved I decided to make more for presents. They are made from cherry, oak, cypress and birch. The finish is poly. I turn the handles on the lathe and finish forming the blades with a drawknife.

They look nice, but see if you can enlarge the images.

I can’t enlarge them here, but you can view a larger picture by clicking on the image and more of my work here: http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y115/oscorner/.

You can make the pictures larger.

Easy. I visited your photobucket site, located the pictures and ‘right-clicked’ on them one at a time, selecting ‘Copy Image’. I then opened Adobe Photoshop/ new selected the dialogue box that pops up already sized to the copy of the picture, and clicked paste. I then enhanced the colour and re-sized the picture to make it suitable for viewing. Finally, I posted it to the photo hosting site that I use, and then placed a direct link in my comment above. So, what you are actually looking at is your picture sized appropriately for this site, but hosted on my site.

If you click on the “show formatting guide above, you will see that if you format as per the sample below, you can post a direct link to your photo’s in your photo-hosting site.

Ugh! Did it again. Apparently you can’t type in a sample from the formatting guide. If you do and it’s not a genuine link, it doesn’t appear in the post. So, have a look at the last sample in the guide.

Don-
I don’t know that I’d call what you did ‘easy’- to me that was complex. You did a great job though on making the photos easier to see. Thanks- Donna

Nice! Pulse brings around another great project. I really like these, Os.
