this is a desk i made for my daughter from African mahogany, it has 3 coats of shellac and five coats of lacquer. theres a bookcase and chair next to make the set.

isnt that a pretty wood; wish i had more but i have just enough to make a bookcase and chair.
the tapered legs where made on the jointer, this was my first time doing them on the jointer and will continue this practice in the future they came out great.
