This is a 12 segment platter inlaid with 3D puzzle. The puzzle is made of 24 pieces of 6 kinds of timber. Observe the end grain of the blocks in the puzzle, they are real end grain of the same timber. I found the puzzle on a patchwork quilt. The two cercles inside the platter are grooves filled in with mixture of saw dust and glue. 260mm dia.
NOTE: When I saw this puzzle for the first time, I thought it was an illusion, but latter on I found it was real puzzle, it could be dismantled and re-assembled.

But you cant let anyone use it or the good stuff will be hidden.
