marshmallow crossbow

This crossbow comes from plans of Steve Ramsey which I found on you tube. The first attempt used a full size marshmallow. However, the range was only about 22 feet. I remade it to use the miniaiture size marshmallows which increased the range to about 50 feet. This is a deadly weapon. (It can stop a fly at thirty feet if you are able to hit him.) This was made for a neighbor boy. His dog loves when he shoots the crossbow. He retrieves the marshmallows but they never seem to get returned to the boy. Go figure!

This is just too cool. If I don’t make one for my grandson, I will make one for myself. LOL.

Does this need a “red” tip, like toy guns; for example, if you pointed it at a police officier…. ?
