I made this triangle table from the remaining lumber of the coffee table I built earlier this year. For some reason it seemed to be one of the more difficult projects I did this year. It is hard to tell from the photos but none of the angles are equal. Personally I’m not thrilled with the legs, but my wife thinks it turned out great and wants it! That reminds me why I married her.

Brother, that’s a nice looking table. Trust your wife.

This is the project ive been thinking about for a couple weeks now! It hurts my brain. You pulled off a tough task very well.

Did you angle a mortise and tenon on the legs? Im having a tough time wrapping my head around it. Especially the 60 degree angle.

The truth is some trial and error and a lot luck. I over thought this for along time, then just started cutting without a solid plan. I used some 2×2 as test pieces, but never put a protractor on it until tonight.(The actual angles are roughly 70-60-105) It is all mortise and tenon and then I tapered the legs in both directions ,by feel. I’m sorry I can’t offer much help but this piece was full ad-lib with very little measurements.
