I started this table last August(2015), It is my first piece of furniture with hand cut joinery. It took a very long time start to finish, but I can at least lay the blame on back surgery.

I followed Paul Sellers videos for the build, making only slight changes. The biggest being the attachment of the table top to the base. I screwed in some blocks, with slotted holes. Finished with BLO sanded into the surface and 3 or 4 coats of gloss poly.

If anyone is considering trying hand cut joinery and other hand methods I can not recommend Paul Sellers enough, he is a fantastic teacher.

Great looking table. Paul Sellers is the reason that I do everything by hand now and only use power tools if I don’t have a hand tool to do the job.

Awesome work!

Great looking table. I’m enjoying some of the unique joinery details. Well done.
