This is a 6’ tall CD/DVD case made of 3/4” Red Oak Plywood and solid Red Oak Trim. It has two secret drawers in the bottom hidden behind the base moulding. All inside shelves are adjustable with shelf pins. Made as a gift for family.

I like the simple but elegant look. I also like the secret drawers.
How are you attaching the base to allow access to the secret drawers?
Be sure to attach it to the wall somehow to avoid it falling on someone.

There are 3 degree wedges on the floor under the CD/DVD case and it sits in my daughter’s adobe house with somewhat uneven tile floors, so I have the case leaning ever so slightly toward the wall…it is full, so it is quite heavy when fully loaded.
The base board has verticle closed dovetails (which cannot be seen in any of the photos), on the outside edges of the front base board. This allows the front base board to be lifted, exposing the two drawers.
