I wanted to make something for my wife just because and for no reason. I I went to the back yard and found a great piece of firewoof that had alot of curl in it. my wife was asking for a Votive Candle holder but I thought I could take it to the next level and make a projector out of it. this was the end result. if you want to see the make video here is a link. https://youtu.be/NAxjZ1z3Pzo

James, what a nice project. The projection on the wall turned out very cool.

I like that Jim. I can see making a lot of those for gifts and a great way to use up cutoff scraps.

That is what my wife now wants me to do for Christmas gifts, but this one took over 20 hours to make.

Great idea and what a wonderful piece of firewood.
Love the result.
Thanks for sharing this.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
