Carved and painted sign for our Ranch. We haven’t gotten it up outside yet as the ground is too frozen to put the post in. Hope to mount it later in the Spring. I designed the sign, carved it and have done all the painting and finishing. My husband milled the wood with his sawmill. This was my first sign and I have made custom signs for others since.

That is a real nice and creatively done sign, I like the rustic wood, I feel for you puttin that “T” in the middle of that knot, you never know which way that is going to go :) Your either going to lose a chunk of it or make alot of smoke:)
Thanx for the post

The wood is Ponderosa and it was a challenge to carve in the knot. A lot of pitch gumming up my tools which slowed the work down a bit but that was the right place for the T.
