This cutting board was made by my son, Kyle, for one of his friends who just bought a house. Because Kyle’s friend is a woodworker he chose many different woods to include in the board. The woods are cherry, walnut, red elm, maple, white oak, satinwood, holly, poplar, bubinga, canary wood, padauk, purple heart and birch. Eighteen strips made up of thirteen different species.

Enjoy your evenings, lumberjocks.

Nice colors! It is getting into the “too nice to cut on” category.

Steve.

Nice looking board. I’ve got a half dozen of them on the go right now here in my shop. Getting ready for the Xmas Art Sale shows coming up.
