Another project that I have to conceal from my wife. She just loves the gnome doors, she calls it “a touch of whimsy” – whatever that means. I have plenty of scraps laying about, thanks for posting and reminding me of a fine quick project.

The door is ingraved and I achieved the design in the border by burning a piece of wood and letting the smoke color it befor I put the spray on varnigh on it.

oh no no.. it’s not “whimsy”. It is a doorway to the possibilities! A gift to the wee people comes back to you 10-fold. You just have to believe!

I love the faerie but once you let them in its worse that rats or childeren they will eat you out of house and gnome… I mean home well done good use of scraps im sure im going to have to make a few soon myself
