Made of American Elm with Black Walnut Danish Oil. All joints are doweled. It’s 31” tall, 18” deep and 52” long.

+1 To Doc Savage. I certainly remember those as a child being sold as modern classic furniture to the very wealthy. You’ve done yourself very proud. That’s a Magnificent build and to have dovetailed joints!

I was influenced by the modern movement of the fifties. My sister and brother in law had contemporary furniture. The tapered spindle legs were something I could purchase and they were the legs to my high fi cabinets. When I got out of the army and went to school I was the recipient of a chair and a Naugahyde sofa. Made a simple coffee table to go with them. The Swedish furniture movement was influential on James Krenov. Maybe Monte is moving in JK’s direction?
