At our recent show I was asked about a sliding side table. Found a picture and a little research and here it is.

This is just some 4/4 ash I had in the shop.

For those looking for something different to make for Christmas gifts this year, I recommend stealing this idea. Very simple to make. Cuts are 15° angles. 18” wide, 24” deep and 28” tall. You can change the height if you want. All joints are doweled, but other joinery could be used also. Any questions, just holler.

yeah ive seen versions of this before who couldnt use one,great gift idea monte im sure many will “borrow this”!!!.ill probably make a few myself.thanks for posting.now lets get too the shop.

WOW! Great build. My Grandfather used one very similar to dine from in his chair beside the big upright radio while listening to the WW II news rather than go to the dining table in another room. Boy, they are a super gift for a infilide person to use at their easy chair.
