i had to make SOMETHING to see more finished woods
so on the left side top to bottom would be
maple, bloodwood, cherry, padouk, zebrawood, maple, and walnut
and you can see they are cut at a slight angle just to mess things up a bit more and the base (also maple) was put at an angle intentionaly :p, im a newb but im not quite that
also finished with regular shellac

-- if you dont have it, build it, especially when its a stupid idea

I would be consistently trying to straighten that on the base, 95% of everyone would of squared it up. This would be a good reminder to not follow what other people are doing and look at things differently. Great little project!

thanks, i always try to shy away from what most people do just for the sake of convo maybe?, or maybe cuz im just weird like
