It almost seems like if you have not posted a cutting board, you are not yet a true LJ member. :) Well my mother’s birthday is coming up and i had some scraps left, so figured a simple cutting board might do. Maybe an end grain board next time. There is some kiaat, purpleheart and SA pine in there. I finished it with Liquid paraffin (Mineral oil)... i had the toughest time finding Mineral oil here in SA… only to find out it was called Liquid paraffin here and not Mineral oil like in other countries. Comments welcome.

i haven’t posted a cutting board ,
turned a bowl ,
made a pen ,
carved anything .
i guess that leaves me hanging by a thread ?
