Just built this cooler chest. Didn’t really find any plans I liked so its a mash up of my favorite features from different plans. The bottom shelf is great to store an extra case. I put two wheels on it and a handle on the opposite side so you can move it around for parties or to wheel it out on the grass to drain. Some other ideas I have done on other versions are; on the top are 1×6 decking cut to fit but I have used plywood and inlayed slate tiles so you can set hot dishes on it when you are BBQing. OR I have also used plywood on the top and painted it with chalkboard paint so you can write what beverage is inside. Another thing you could do is add a shelf on the side. Its is made from cedar decking and a 2×4 for the legs so is relatively lightweight.

Many thanks. I mostly used plans from Ana White with a few modifications.

Great cooler cabinet.I like it when you make it to suit you and fit the item needed like you did. Nice work on it!!
The hinging of the cooler lid with your top hinge it a neat idea!!
Cheers, Jim
