While this is not your normal project on here, some of my buddies on LJ’s have been asking where I have been. We all know how addicted we are to this site, so here is what’s taking me away from wood right now. Wife wants the backyard remodeled to be tropical paradise. As most men do what ever the BOSS tells us figured, I would have to get this done.

The decking is Trex made of two separate sections that lift out. This is for access to the underground spa if you ever need to get to the pumps, controls or the underground sump system. The joice’s are pressure treated 2×10’s they just sit in the hangers so you can lift them out too work if needed. Face plates are bolted on to the wall with lead anchors with 5/16 Galvanized bolts. (Over kill I know but that’s my nick name with the city inspectors. ) The spa Vault will be getting Black ledge stone Now that the rain has stopped. Then comes the Fake grass and landscaping….

The outdoor kitchen island will be black ledge stone as well with Granite. This is the small section of the L that will have 3 drawers and the 2-burner stove on it. I am currently building the large section for the Man Grill and Doors and bar area. Did plans on Google Sketchup.

Again little different for a project here but I miss you guys…. Who ever is free and has nothing to do come on over… LOL

Well is the water hot, and the burgers cooked. You’ll have a crowd.
