This is a big thanks and a shout out to Jim at a1Jim.
I went over to his shop and we used his multi router (nice tool) a couple of months ago.
Everything fit perfectly. It took me a while to finish the project but I think that it came out just fine.

Thanks JIM!!!

This was made out of 5a big leaf maple burl with lace between the birds eye. very nice piece of wood.
Can’t wait to put more burl ascents on my XB! I was thinking veneer on the door handles to start.

Looks sharp! What kind of finish did you use?

Hey Greg
I was just wondering how you and the boys were and how this came out. Looks terrific with your fantastic wood. Your most welcome. Take care bud.

Great idea, very nicely done.

I just wonder if one day the plate number is stolen or dropped while you’re speeding in the busy highway. Would you replace it with wooden letters-numbers? so you may need this:

Wonderful and just the thing to accompany your logo on the back window. I’m sure that will be getting a lot of attention.

Very cool. Remember the blog and was wondering what it came out like. Nice to see LJ’s working together.

Keep it up.
