The wife is finally happy…I’m done! Hobbiest woodworker but this is the second kitchen I’ve completed. Mahogany cabinets, blew in the windows and full glass door overlooking the woods so we lost upper cabinet space but gained it back in floor to ceiling cabinets. Put in stained glass panels in the top and backlit with dimmable recessed puck lights, one door panel is a chalk board for the family communication. European style drawers for dishes and glasses, trash can pull out is full lower cabinet height with separate storage in the pull out for oversized trash you wouldn’t want in the can. We wanted a full sized trash can with the family. Stove island, tile counter with wood trim. Floors are cabinet grade plywood, ripped to 8 inched and tongue & grooved (looks awsome at an inth of the cost), recessed ceiling can lights. Very functional, great flow, looks great! Looked so good we had to out and get a new table (couldn’t build my own, constuction burn-out). I did build a couple saddle stools to sit opposite of the stove, and the dog feeder by the kitchen table for the (large) puppies. Off to some smaller projects….

Does not look amature to me. Did you do the trees/branches design as well? Very nice. I like the style for the doors.

Ecellent idea with the plywood flooring – and it looks great. Nice job. Love the tree detailing touch.

What happens in case of a real emergency? :)
