This is the second scroll saw box I’ve attempted—excluding one in my kindling bin. I love the look of the Jatoba wood against the Poplar. Sanding with a small sanding drum on my drill press left some deep scratches along the center-lines of the sides which had to be hand sanded after overall sanding with the palm sander. The finish is Minwax finishing wax only.

Simple but beautiful box. I can’t begin to tell where you cut in with the bandsaw. I love the colors too. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. The box has about a 4×6 inch footprint.
