Ok, here is one of the little projects I did for fun.
For Halloween this year, I dressed as Handy Randy. Randy Jr. was only 18 months at the time so I knew I would be holding his hand and carrying his candy for him. So, I decided I would build a Handy Manny toolbox to hold his candy.
I used 7/16” plywood for all the sides and a 3/4” red oak dowel for the handle. It took me about 2 and a half hours from start to finsh. I completed it with my son’s talking Handy Manny toolbox.
The great part was, when Halloween was over, I had a new tool tote for my misc. shop items that don’t really have homes yet. I will be posting it’s new look and upgrades in a few days.

Great idea. I would keep the tool box in your workshop for when Randy Jr. wants to come and help you in the workshop, you could keep some toy tools in it for him.
