Well, its been too long since I posted, ...just finished this awesome antique clock puzzle, that uses a real 100+ year old antique as the base.

The Gates of Time – A ‘37 moves to open’ vintage retrofit colossal clock conundrum!

The Goal: To transcend the Gates of Time so that you may realign the gears of The Universe and make it 5 o’clock in your Time stream and usher in Happy Hour!

The vintage retrofit puzzle was built into an antique 100 year old Seth Thomas Mantel Clock. This company was a leader and one of the longest lasting clock manufacturer in the US in the last Century. They were particularly known for the celluloid film they coated lesser woods with. The plastic film was called Adamantine, ...and no, not the stuff Wolverine’s bones were coated with.

...oh, in deep dark depths of the Gates of Time lies a carefully crafted Treasure Ejection System. I can’t tell you what the treasure is, ...it’s a secret, ...shhhhh. ...but you can guess.

It took me a month to build, ...this was my first big jump in playing with gears I had made. Materials included are Wenge, Curly Maple, Zebrawood, Paduk, Bloodwood, American Holly, Ebony, Purpleheart, Pau Amarello and a whack of metal gears and pins from real vintage clocks.

Thanks Redoak, ...I wish I could, ...puzzle collectors are quite particular about their solutions being posted. Though sometimes I do show the solutions, ...Here is a video of another puzzle piece that shows a bit more of whats going on.

This video was made by the client. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6AxN7DNFU4
