Hedgehog Trinket Box

This little box made from local walnut, measures 3” x 2.25” (8mm x 5.5 mm). It is for my niece who has had a series of hedgehogs for pets. Though made on the scroll saw, it follows the similar band saw box method which can be seen on many videos and books. The swivel lid uses a 1/4 inch wood dowel, and closes with two rare earth magnets.
Finished with a coat of mineral oil. Hoping to make other critter boxes.
Thanks for looking.
