I made this candle holder from a log that I believed to be cherry and has been drying for a couple of years. For this one I capped the ends with padauk and pinned it with walnut, however on a previously model I capped with Brazilian cherry and pinned it with oak dowels. The majority of this project is just sanding, however it is also a good opportunity to work on hand tool usage.

Here is a video on its construction: https://youtu.be/BJymEqW089g
